WRECKED AND REDEEMED

Helping Ordinary People
Build an Extraordinary
Marriage Together

Aaren and I believe that ordinary people can have an extraordinary marriage through just a little extra, ordinary effort each day, as long as you both shall live.

Our marriage was wrecked. We were broke, busted, and disgusted with each other, separated, and on the brink of divorce.

Things couldn't have been worse.

Until God stepped in, and we were redeemed.

Since then, it has been our mission to share our testimony as an example to others of the power of God to redeem even the most broken relationship.

Having shared our story in many churches and groups across the Southeast, we often find that authenticity is a powerful tool in helping couples work toward better marriages. We hope that you feel the same.

This series of workshops, based on travel metaphors and images (we LOVE to travel), is our way of helping couples improve their marriage one step at a time. We truly believe that ordinary people can have an extraordinary marriage with just a little extra, ordinary effort each day for as long as you both shall live.

Our Marriage Workshop Process

Stay In Your Lane

You can’t change them, you can only change you. Our process begins by recognizing that each member of the relationship must commit to change and become better, without worrying about what the other is doing.

Model Authenticity

Owning our weaknesses, brokenness, faults, and flaws is a necessary first step to marital growth. You’re a broken person married to a broken person. Pretending all is well isn’t going to help. Together, we will practice authenticity and growth.

Be Patient

No one escapes the law of the harvest. This may be a season of planting, not growth. Each spouse must be patient with the other and themselves as the seeds of change are planted.

Have Fun!

We don’t believe in sit and get workshops. We bring fun, engagement, collaboration, and communication to each and every session. You will laugh together, discuss hard things together, and grow together in a way that only couples can.

Wrecked and Redeemed Workbooks

Each marriage workshop is accompanied by this beautiful spiral bound workbook that enables each participant to follow along with the teaching, make notes, answer questions, and continue the journey when the workshop ends.

In addition, the final part of the workbook contains several weeks of study materials and questions for small groups to go through after having attended a Wrecked and Redeemed Workshop.
